Warren McKenna, III is a lifelong New Orleanian who has dedicated thirty years to serving the people of New Orleans in courtrooms, public institutions, and community organizations. Guided by the core principles of fairness, integrity, and equal justice under the law, Warren has built a balanced and distinguished career representing individuals, corporate institutions, and the public across city, state, and federal courts.

Warren’s extensive courtroom experience is anchored by his service as a Judge Pro Tempore and prosecutor in the New Orleans Municipal Court.

In these roles, he managed a substantial docket with a steadfast commitment to efficiency, accountability, and impartiality, ensuring that individuals achieved compliance with the law while treating every litigant with dignity. His early career at Christovich & Kearney, LLP, specializing in complex civil matters like products liability, medical malpractice defense, and insurance litigation, laid the foundation for his analytical rigor and disciplined application of the law.

As an Assistant City Attorney for the City of New Orleans, Warren represented the municipality in high-profile real estate, transportation, and constitutional litigation. This public service deepened his understanding of the delicate balance between municipal authority and individual rights, reinforcing his absolute fidelity to the Constitution. In 2001, he expanded his advocacy by founding The McKenna Firm, LLC, a full-service practice specializing in civil litigation, real estate, contracts, and federal criminal defense. Following the devastation of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Warren stepped forward to lead critical recovery efforts, obtaining hundreds of property judgments to clarify ownership so that thousands of displaced families could secure Road Home Grants and rebuild their lives.

Beyond the courtroom, Warren has been a champion for civil rights and equal access to justice. He served as President and Board Member of Southeastern Legal Services (formerly the New Orleans Legal Assistance Corporation), Louisiana's largest nonprofit legal services provider. Under his leadership, the organization expanded statewide and developed vital aid programs for survivors of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Ida, as well as those affected by the BP Oil Spill. He is also the former President and Board Member of the Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Legal Society, continuing his advocacy for professional excellence and community service.

Raised in Gentilly and a resident of Algiers for the past 13 years, Warren is deeply connected to the culture, history, and people of New Orleans. He and his wife, Halima Narcisse McKenna, operate The McKenna Firm, LLC together and are the proud parents of four children, Gabriel, Alexander, Adrienne, and Isabella, along with their mini goldendoodle, Kirby.
